As a water network operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining the critical infrastructure that delivers clean water to communities and safely removes wastewater. Your day-to-day work involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing water pipes, pumping stations, and sewerage systems that serve residential and commercial areas. You will perform both scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, often working outdoors in various weather conditions and sometimes in confined spaces. Your responsibilities include detecting pipeline leaks and blockages, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring all work meets strict health and safety standards.
