As an aircraft interior technician, you will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and repairing the interior components that make aircraft cabins safe, comfortable, and functional. Your day-to-day work involves inspecting incoming materials, reading technical blueprints and engineering drawings, and using both hand tools and power tools to install, align, and fasten components such as seats, carpeting, door panels, ceiling panels, and lighting systems. You may also work on replacing or upgrading entertainment systems, including video displays and audio equipment.
